What will youdo:

·    Develop new amplification,pre-amplification technologies to enable various applications such as rarepoint mutation detection, multi-target detection and high throughput screening.

·    To optimize multiplex DNA / RNA PCRsystems to improve sensitivity and direct amplification capability

·    Evaluate emerging technologies,competing products and generate reports

·    Transfer newly developed products fromR&D to manufacturing.

·    Develop and optimize productmanufacturing technologies, analytical methods for product and raw materialanalysis.

·    Conduct R&D studies for feasibilityassessment.

·    Prepare and present experimental datasummaries and reports.

·    Analyze scientific literature andpatents related to products under development and generate new ideas.

Requirements:

·    PhD in one of the following fields:molecular biology, biochemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry,applied chemistry.

·     Musthave 4+ years of work experience in the laboratory.

·    Good knowledge and understanding of amplificationtechnologies and underlying principles.

·    Experience in planning and executing researchproject with minimal direction.

·    Collaboration skills and ability to workindependently within a team with varied strengths, and contribute to a positivework environment.

·    Good communication skills are essentialand able to communicate effectively to diverse audiences

·    Good written and spoken English..

·    Computer skills of bio-informatics, designof PCR oligonucleotides, experiment design and data analysis, documentation, aswell as communication (MS Office)

·    Good writing and oral presentationskills.

·    Highly motivated, passionate,independent, and proactive.
